West Niagara Minor Hockey Now Accepting Coaching Applications for the 2026–27 Season
West Niagara Minor Hockey Association is now accepting coaching applications for the upcoming 2026–27 season. Applications are open for teams ranging from U10 through U21, across AA, A, and B levels.  Closes January 25th 2026

WNMHA is committed to providing a positive, competitive, and development-focused environment for all players. Coaches play a critical role in achieving this mission, and the Association welcomes applications from individuals who demonstrate strong leadership, sound hockey knowledge, and a commitment to player development, sportsmanship, and fair play.

All coaching selections will be conducted in accordance with the West Niagara Coach Selection Policy, which outlines a fair, transparent, and consistent process for evaluating applicants. The policy emphasizes selecting the “best fit” for each team, considering coaching experience, certifications, coaching philosophy, and alignment with WNMHA values.

Interested candidates must submit their application online using SurveyMonkey. A separate application is required for each team an applicant wishes to be considered for.

Coaching appointments are made on a season-by-season basis, and all applicants—including returning coaches—are required to reapply each year. Selected candidates may be invited to participate in interviews as part of the evaluation process.

WNMHA encourages both experienced coaches and those looking to further develop their coaching journey within minor hockey to apply.

For additional information regarding expectations, evaluation criteria, and the selection process, applicants are encouraged to review the West Niagara Coach Selection Policy available on the WNMHA website under the coaches tab.

West Niagara Minor Hockey looks forward to assembling a dedicated coaching group that will continue to support the growth and success of our athletes, teams, and community.
