RETURNING TO PLAY IN WNMHA

Returning players must register online through the WMHA Hockey Canada Registration System (HCR) leveraging the member-defined account created previously (same username/email and password). The username would be your email used to create the HCR account. Hockey Canada Registry - Login

Online Registration
WNMHA continues to use the Hockey Canada Registration system. You can access each players profile in the Hockey Canada Registry system using the email address associated with previous registrations.

If you are unable to find your name in the Hockey Canada Registry, please send an email to [email protected] with the player name, date of birth and scanned copy of Birth Certificate. This will allow us to search the master database to identify the missing information and work with OMHA to correct the issue in a timely manner.

NEW TO WNMHA

Any NEW to WNMHA players must contact the registrar.  If you have moved into the WNMHA area and have played hockey with another organization, please contact the registrar prior to registering online. Unless you have an email saying your move has been processed, you will not be able to register online. Email address is [email protected]

General Registration Information
If you are registering for a division that is full, your name will be recorded on a placement list and in sequence you will be assigned to a team on a first-come, first-serve basis based on availability.

No player may participate in any team activity, including tryouts, until he or she is registered with the Association.  No family's registration is complete until all current and outstanding fees and charges have been paid, including any fees to a representative, rostered select or development stream team for the previous season from any member of the same family.

Placement Request
Friend requests are accepted prior to August 15th, 2020 but not guaranteed.

Three Year Old Player Eligibility
WNMHA will accept up to 30 players born in 2017 (January 1st to July 31st). These players will be put on a waiting list until players age 4 and up are placed on teams. At that time, any remaining spots will be filled with 3-year old players on a first-come first-served basis.

Respect In Sport

At least one parent from each family must complete the Parent Respect in Sport online course (one parent). Please note any player whose parent has not completed the course will not be assigned to a team. For more information and to complete the course click here.

Payments

2019 - 2020 Season
Registration fees can be made online through the Hockey Canada Registration system using credit card only (Visa or MasterCard).  IMPORTANT: Cash and/or personal cheques will NOT be accepted.

*WNMHA families that register 3 or more children in the association are eligible for a discount. If the HCR system doesn’t calculate it automatically, you will need to contact the registrar. The deadline for these requests is October 31st, 2020.

Residency
Please note that false residency claims and claims that cannot be substantiated will result in forfeiture of full registration fees.

Coach in WNMHA
Our Association is largely formed by dedicated volunteer coaches. If you are interested in coaching this season we would love to hear from you. Please fill out the coach application and review the coaching requirements
