Important Local League Information
Hello West Niagara Families,  The upcoming Hockey Season is quickly approaching and I thought I would pass along some important information.

As some of you may already know the schedule has already been posted on the website https://westniagaraminorhockey.ca   This is the most accurate source of information as it is updated constantly. Our start date for local league is Monday September 18. Evaluation skates will begin and we will start the process for balancing teams. We will use the first 2 weeks as evaluations and split teams after this. The regular season games start date will be the second week of October.

Although we will try our best to accommodate all friend requests our ultimate goal is even team balance for competitiveness in each age group.  We will be limiting team roster sizes again this season in order to allow equal and ample playing time for all participants. If we are over in any age group, players will be chosen by registration date stamp and if not willing to play out of a different arena with a smaller team size they will be put on a waiting list, refunds will be given if necessary.

Players that are registered in Grimsby for U11 and U13 will be split alphabetically by last name for the open skates.

          U11 G1 & G2 will be last names A-H and G3 & G4 will be I-Z

U13 G1 will be last names A-H and

          U13 G2 will be I-Z

This does not mean these are the teams, it's just too many kids to have on the ice all at once.

If you have any questions you can reach out to myself or the convenor for your corresponding age group and arena location.
