A Grimsby Minor Hockey Association tradition!
Our Hockey School returns again in the fall.

In its 11th season guided by Monika Patterson and under the development direction of head coach Barry Patterson, a Hockey Canada NCCP High Performance certified coach. With Group Leaders Ken Watson and Phil Evans, the GMHA’s Hockey School program is uniquely qualified to start your family, and players, on their minor hockey journey.

The GMHA Hockey School program runs 1 hour a week, Saturday mornings (8:30 am or 9:30 am) from September 28th through to April 4th, typically 22- 24 weeks of instruction (given holidays and rink black-out dates)

The GMHA Hockey School caters to non-skaters and those players developing the basic skating skills required for hockey, typically aged 4 through 6 (please contact Coach Barry for inquiries about older or younger players). Each hourly session is divided into three instruction groups (junior, intermediate and “Advanced”) where skill appropriate drills are delivered by head instructors, augmented by on ice coach helpers. Players progress through skills and drills following a tried and true seasonal plan that delivers development and fun.

The GMHA Hockey School typically sells out so early registration is encouraged to guarantee your player’s spot. Registration can be done through the Hockey Canada link on the 2019-20 Registration tab on the GMHA Website. For additional registration information or assistance please contact the registrar at [email protected]

For additional Hockey School program information, or questions, please contact Barry or Monika Patterson at [email protected]

Have a great summer and see you at the rink,

Monika and Coach Barry

At Beamsville Physiotherapy, we know that the most effective physiotherapy starts with understanding your pain and the source of it. That is why we take pride in the effectiveness of our assessment process and it distinguishes us in our field. Once we understand what is causing your pain, we use our training and experience to match the problem with science-based physiotherapy. When called for, we will also prescribe exercises to be done between visits to support the healing process.
Zwart Systems
From our humble beginnings as a small family business that supplied local greenhouses with aluminum irrigation pipe used for rain lines to the technical advances used when designing a flood floor project with waste water management in mind, our company has indeed gone through some changes over the years. And we still are! We are at the forefront of greenhouse irrigation systems. Whether you are growing cut flowers, growing vegetables on a raised gutter system, growing a weekly production potted crop, propagating, or turning out a spring program, we have designed, sold and installed all of it. We are among very few companies in North America that have the trained staff to install and service what we sell.
