2021/2022 Rep Preregistration Information
Submitted By Jim Borsodi on Monday, June 14, 2021
West Niagara Minor Hockey (WNMH) is planning our 2021/22 season. There remains much uncertainty as to what restrictions will be in place as the situation with COVID continues to develop. As such, WNMHA is planning on Offering AA, A, AE programming, competing in the Tri County and Niagara District leagues. Tryouts will be held in September as per the OHF Seasonal Calendar.

Prior to registering we wanted you to know what the plan is for each age group:

U8 – half ice only all season, we will look to form two Minor Development (MD) teams (what used to be called “Select”). The MD teams will play in the NDLL /NDHL.

Player evaluations will be held and conducted based on OMHA player pathway.

Teams may be balanced or Tiered to meet leagues requests.

U9 – half ice until Jan 15th, full ice afterwards, we will look to form two MD teams (there is no REP for U9 anymore). The MD teams will play in the NDLL /NDHL.

Player evaluations will be held and conducted based on OMHA player pathway.

Teams may be balanced or Tiered to meet leagues requests.

U11 – Pre-Skates and Tryout cost will be part of Rep registration package.

New OHF and OMHA requirements for tryouts and preseason will be followed.

Also new playoff formatting will apply for 21-22 season.

U13, U15, U16, U18 - Pre-Skates and Tryout cost will be part of Rep registration package.

New OHF and OMHA requirements for tryouts and preseason will be followed

Obviously, if COVID restrictions remain in place we will adapt to whatever is required.

Thank You

Chris Unrau
