Timbits Hockey My 1st Jersey Day
Submitted By Jim Borsodi on Monday, August 19, 2019
Receiving your very first hockey jersey is a moment that your child will never forget and your local Tim Hortons Restaurant Owners would like to help make that experience even more memorable. We are excited to inform you of a unique and novel program called “My 1st Jersey Day” that select Tim Hortons Restaurants will be participating in.

What is My 1st Jersey Day?

·         The players and families of the youngest Timbits Hockey age group in your local hockey association are invited to Tim Hortons to receive their first ever Timbits “Rookie Year” Hockey Jersey and to celebrate their first official hockey season as a player.

·         Team Coaches will hand out hockey jerseys and socks while Tim Hortons Restaurant Owners will hand out juice boxes and Timbits for the Timbits

·         The jersey will be like any other Timbits Hockey Jersey, however there will be an official “Rookie Year 2019” badge on the jersey

Who is invited? Coaches, players and families of the youngest Timbits hockey teams in your hockey association

When is it? Saturday September 7th  at 11am

Where is it? Gynette Smith and Chris Riediger’s Beamsville Tim Hortons Restaurant:                                  4398 Ontario Street, Beamsville, ON

FAQ (Association Parents)

Q: Who will hand out the jerseys and how will they know which team my child is on?

A: Coaches will be handing out jerseys and socks and should have a list of which player is on which coloured team

Q: Will socks, medals and the Crosby Gift Item be handed out as well?

A: Jerseys and socks will be distributed on My 1st Jersey Day. Medals and Crosby Gift Items will be sent out to your association at a later date

Q: What if I cannot make it on Saturday September 7th

A: We strongly encourage that you make it out for this unique experience, but if you have to miss it, your coach will hang onto your child’s jersey and socks and give them out at a later date.

Q: Where can I park if the lot is full?

A: Parking is at a first come basis. Parking lots do tend to fill up quite fast, parking down the road or in another parking lot may be required
